The current (2020) captain of the Qatar National Football Team, Hassan Al-Haydos is the highest cap scorer in the team's history - scoring a total of 127 caps.
Born in Qatar in 1990, Al-Haydos has represented the National Team since 2008. Not only is he the team's highest capped player, but he is also the current team's highest goal scorer, with 27 goals under his belt. Some of his most notable goals were scored in the 2019 Asian Cup Final against the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Al Haydos scored 3 out of 4 goals for his team, helping to secure Qatar's victory.
