The Culture Pass
Qatar is blessed with, through a determined effort by those responsible for, and those in, the Qatari arts scene, a significant number of outstanding museums and art galleries. From museums housing extraordinary examples of Islamic art, regional and national heritage artefacts, and the history of a nation to those exhibiting modern and contemporary arts. From art galleries displaying works of famous and noted international and established regional and national artists to those supporting local emerging talent. And, from traditional style museums and galleries to state-of-the-art, technological and architectural wonders, and public art on the streets, the airport and in the desert; Qatar has something for everyone.
This culture capital has been created and refined with one major goal in mind, to start a conversation, to involve and inspire all...local, regional and international. Part of ensuring that goal is to make all of the country’s arts accessible. Hence the creation of the Culture Pass programme...
